It has been an unusually warm weekend in Illinois after we had a few days of frost. I have been loving the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s in the forecast especially with the kids. Aubrey has had a ridiculous amount of energy lately and Brecken is always standing at the back door ready and waiting. As the weekend came to an end, we went outside for a run around the yard and a few rides down the slide. Aubrey and I played a game of Hide and Seek while Brecken arranged the pumpkins over and over and Dad started a fire in the pit. Oh how I wish winter was like this! Not going to lie, I am one that really hates winter. I don’t like being cold and having to bear the wind and ice. I always worry about the animals without homes and the people who work outside. I lose sleep over these things sometimes. Enough of that…..here are some photos from this afternoon. I must mention how I just LOVE the beautiful fiery sunset in the background!
On a side note: I must admit the main reason I wanted to take some pictures tonight was because Brecken is getting his first hair cut on Wednesday. I wanted to remember him like he is RIGHT NOW. I don’t know if I will cry on Wednesday, but I sure will be sad knowing this is my last baby getting his hair cut for the first time. Enough of that, for I’m sure I will have a sob story on Wednesday. Here are the kids. There is more of Brecken because Aubrey was going crazy!
