Fairbury IL Baby Darien IL Newborn Photographer
Will’s newborn session was mostly spent with me gushing over his curly flowing eyelashes, his button nose, and his dark hair. The rest of his newborn session was spent with me cuddling him and keeping him soothed to sleep while I worked. We got some great shots during this little man’s time with me. He smiled a couple times, and showed off his big eyes for me once, but otherwise, he was sound asleep!
This family. They are so kind and so sweet. I was happy to do their family session this spring for them. I mean, Desmond has been coming to see me since he was a newborn. You can see his other sessions here and here.
Although we had cloudy skies, we had some great spring temperatures for their family session. I loved how their outfits coordinated each other and flowed with the feel of spring.
Thank you for trusting me to capture your memories. I hope you cherish them forever.
Elijah, you melt me heart into pieces. Those big brown eyes and that hair. Those cheeks and your big personality! I love getting to photograph this little guy every 3 months. I loved his 6 month studio baby session. His mom and dad always have him so well dressed, usually sporting some cute baby Jordans. Elijah was super strong for his 6 month session, showing off his sitting skills, and his smiles shows how proud he is of himself.

Charlotte was the sweetest to me. She was gorgeous in every set up! In case you’re wondering about why we stuffed this sweet little girl in her Daddy’s snowmobile helmet, it’s because her mom and dad met while on a snowmobiling trip with friends. The rest….is history!!
These studio Valentine Mini Sessions were really a challenge for me to set up. I was really finding a creative blog with how to decorate the session and what to use for backdrops. I tend to like simple, organic photography backdrops, and I felt like Valentine Mini Sessions really forced me to think out of the box. I love how they turned out. I got to use my vintage gumball dispenser and filled it with word heart candy and found a lot of decorations at Target in the $1 bins (yay!). The rest I made or found at Hobby Lobby.
Vivian’s Fresh 48 Hospital Session was amazing. She was born with a full head of dark brown hair, gorgeous skin, and surrounded by a loving family.
These hospital newborn sessions are so great – they capture the emotion and happiness that a new life brings. It traps in time a feeling of smells, emotions, and memories that will never be forgotten. Newborn babies change so much in a short period of time, so these sessions are great to preserve the wrinkly skin, the shriveled feet and the newness of life.
Oh, and she is on my Grow with Me Plan, which means I get to snuggle her a lot!
Nolan was so sweet to me during his newborn photography session in my home studio in Bloomington, Illinois. Although he fought me to sleep at first, I eventually won the battle and captured some amazing images that his mom and dad will cherish for a lifetime.
To book your newborn session, please book while you’re pregnant to ensure your date on our calendar.
You can tell this momma did some planning for her little one’s first birthday photo session. His theme was Where the Wild Things Are. I loved his crown, which she purchased off Etsy. She made the banners for the background and the cake. Jackson showed his wild side during his session and gave some awesome expressions for us. And he definitely destroyed his cake!!
