Mahomet IL Family Champaign IL Baby Photographer
So I am trying something a little new for my blog posts. I’m not sure how long it will last, if it will be consistent, or it will even work effectively.
I often get behind on blogging/posting to my website because of the amount of time it takes to describe the sheer awesomeness that each family and session deserves. I love each and every family/person that I have the privilege of capturing, but the journalistic side of my job I often find difficult. So, in order to get you WAY more cuteness and a higher volume of eye candy, I have decided I’m only going to include photos for each of my blog posts from here on out (at least as a trial).
I mean, seriously, you all surely don’t come to a photographer’s website to READ, do you?!
So, without further ado, this is 18 month old Charlotte and her amazing family….
Why are all my newborns turning one? Time goes by so fast with these little ones.
I loved Kambri’s session. She was so smiley, running all over and giggling at everything. I love the way she looks at her mom and dad with such adoration. That….is unconditional love.
I love watching families grow and love one another. We had a gorgeous night with this three. A perfect sunset, cool breeze and a beautiful family.
Happy Birthday, Kambri.
Newborn Photography is one of my favorite things in the entire world, after of course church and my family. Do you want to know WHY newborn photography is a huge passion of mine? I could go on forever, but to sum it up in a few words this is why:
I mean, who doesn’t love baby toes? I only take about 40 photos during each newborn session of just their toes….I can’t help it.
New life. What is more amazing than that? These sweet little beings just so perfectly made. Every single one of them.
Innocence. The are so pure, so reliant and trusting on us to take care of them. They need one thing….love. Well, and food, but that is love too, right?!
McKenna is one of the happiest little girls I know. Although very shy, we have bonded over the years and I am very proud to say we are buddies and have fun together!! Her smile will warm up any room!
Mr. Griffin, his big blue eyes and sweet, chubby cheeks are to die for. I love his little grin and his little dimple poking through! He is 6 months old….where did the time go?!
We were blessed with some amazing weather this year for our fall mini sessions. I was loving all the colors, all the families and all the amazing memories we created this time around. Fall Mini Sessions are by far the most popular time for family sessions. I am so thankful for all the families that came out to visit me for some updated photos!

One of the best things about being a photographer is getting to see old friends and watching their families grow. This family is surely no exception. They are some of the sweetest people I know. Gorgeous fall weather, family photos, and celebrating a first birthday – all amazing reasons to book a family photo session!
Charlie. What a happy, chubby sweet little 9 month baby. His 9 month baby session was simple and sweet. With this much cuteness, you don’t need much else.
Camden’s 6 month milestone session was filled with chubbiness, toothless grins and some proud moments for one happy 6 month old. Camden’s milestone session was just that — a session to show off his milestones. He arrived several weeks before his due date, so these accomplishments cannot go unnoticed!! He was so happy to be sitting there so strong and tall all by himself.
Camden’s electric blue eyes are ones that you cannot miss. He melts your heart with every little smile of his.
Behr is such a squishy, happy baby. I was happy to have him back to my studio for his 1 year cake smash session that his sweet mom totally themed out to Where the Wild Things Are. She had several things made for his session and I was super stoked to make a teepee for him as well. If you’re wanting to make a teepee, I followed this blog here for the instructions. I substituted the round doll rods.
All in all, the session was a success.
