Floral Cake Smash Session | Dwight IL Photographer | Chandi Kesler Photography

Why are all my newborns turning one? Time goes by so fast with these little ones.
I loved Kambri’s session. She was so smiley, running all over and giggling at everything. I love the way she looks at her mom and dad with such adoration. That….is unconditional love.
I love watching families grow and love one another. We had a gorgeous night with this three. A perfect sunset, cool breeze and a beautiful family.
Happy Birthday, Kambri.
I was so excited to finally meet Charlotte and so happy I got to join her parents at Unity Point Methodist Hospital in Peoria for her Fresh 48 Hospital Session. It was a chilly but gorgeous spring day, not a cloud in sight and sun shining bright. Jessica and Fletch’s room smelled of spring with their gorgeous bouquets of flowers spread throughout their room. As I walked in, they both glowed with love and excitement to show off their sweet baby girl. After all, they have very patiently waited a long time to meet her!
There she was, wrapped up in her little hospital blanket and a simple shirt. A new life. I can’t wait to watch her grow!
World. Meet Charlotte.
Charlotte was the sweetest to me. She was gorgeous in every set up! In case you’re wondering about why we stuffed this sweet little girl in her Daddy’s snowmobile helmet, it’s because her mom and dad met while on a snowmobiling trip with friends. The rest….is history!!
Nolan was so sweet to me during his newborn photography session in my home studio in Bloomington, Illinois. Although he fought me to sleep at first, I eventually won the battle and captured some amazing images that his mom and dad will cherish for a lifetime.
To book your newborn session, please book while you’re pregnant to ensure your date on our calendar.
Nora’s family came all the way from Joliet to see me for their newborn session.
Since they drove all that way, she to see what was going on during her newborn session, so what did I do? Did some open eyed newborn photos, of course! She looked great in all the colors we picked for her. I can’t wait to see her as she grows!
These two were a riot during their fall maternity session in Bloomington-Normal, IL. Nate and I attended Tri-Valley High School together a loooong time ago so I was so excited they reached out for a session when they found out they were expecting their first baby.
They are waiting to find out the gender of Baby D until he/she is born. I am going with a boy all the way. I love the milkweed and the tall, flowing grass for this session. Jenna was nothing short of glowing for her entire session. I cannot wait to meet their little person in November.
I had been looking forward to this super stylish country side session for a while. My friend asked me about photos for her 3 girls and I was so happy to schedule them. I encouraged Mom to come dressed for photos so she could have some of them together. Although reluctant at first, she was so excited for them by the time the session had arrived. They are some of my favorite images from her session gallery.
We had gorgeous light pouring in during this session and as I show Mom the back of my camera, she says, “Wow, this is why we wait to have photos taken this late, huh? Totally worth
That’s right! This Peoria IL Photographer waits for that light – I am strict on my session times, but this is why, my friends! That golden light cannot be captured any other time!
Riley was so happy during his 6 month photo session. I cannot believe how much he has grown since his newborn session (you can see that HERE) – he was a little guy all scrunched in half in his daddy’s hands. Now this little man is giving his mommy an arm workout with every trip around the house and every diaper change.
Loved this session. And Dad’s tattoos! Meet this sweet newborn girl, Adelyne.
