Mackinaw IL Newborn Tremont IL Baby Photographer
Loved bring able to get back outside and capture my amazing clients! It’s so fun to be able to explore, feel the wind in your face and through your hair, watch the sunset and run around like a goofball.
Caleb and Tate were among my first clients this spring and they were full of fun and smiles the whole session. They loved the cool spring evening as we ran around and played catch, snapped some photos and climbed on the fence.
Thank you to each and every one of you that support this love of mine and trust me with your images.

Summer and Andi brought so much laughter and joy into my photography studio in Bloomington IL. Summer came for her 1 year session and Andi came for her 3 month session. The two are cousins needing milestone images so they shared a session and jumped in for a couple photos together. These two will for sure grow up to be close to one another over the years — like sisters.
Coen’s was so shy during his one year session at my Bloomington IL photography studio. He was just so sweet standing there with his big blue eyes and chubby cheeks. I wanted to keep him. He lit up a little when my son came into the studio to help and gave a few smiles. Regardless of whether his 1 year session was filled with smiles or not, he was handsome nonetheless and will melt your heart in these pictures.
John’s newborn baby boy session was filled with blues, greys and splashes of neutrals. He slept like a little dream and his big sister really couldn’t be prouder. She loved on him and watched every move I made, often making sure I was being careful while handling him. She is going to be one amazing sister for John!!
Well, my predictions were right on this little guy. During his mom’s maternity session, I guessed he was a boy.
During his newborn session in my Bloomington IL Photography Studio, he was a dream to work with. His mom and dad are big Cubs fans, so we tied in some memorabilia for them. I’m sure they are proud right now with the Cubs’ latest winnings as well.
Landon is on our Grow with Me Baby Milestone Plan, so I get to watch him grow up every 3 months!
One of the best parts about my job is capturing people in their element, for who they are, how they are together and the bond they share as a family. People often say, myself included, that 2 (and 3) year olds are by far the hardest age to capture. However, this year, I have decided to take a step back from this mindset and really change my way of shooting this age group. It’s about connecting with them, respecting their boundaries and earning their trust. Every single one of these little humans are different and require a different approach. I have enjoyed finding what makes them smile, I’ve enjoyed chasing them around, and I will even sacrifice some of my best candy to get a laugh!
This family session was so much fun. They are always so easy to work with, and laid back. Mom even walked down to the creek in her white pants and wedges (notice she isn’t in the photos – wedges and white only get you so far when it’s muddy). Jamie is one of my best friends from college and it’s always nice to catch up in person. Living 6 hours apart doesn’t always make that easy, so this is one time a year we can count on a date together. Oh, this session was so fun!
Sarah and Joe met a few years back in school and have begun planning their lives together. They will be getting married May 2015 in Wisconsin. We had the most beautiful setting for their engagement session this nigh – a photographer’s dream, really. The sun was gorgeous to start then peeked around he clouds for the remainder of the session, giving off some beautiful light in the background for us! We all had a lot during the session and could not have asked for more beautiful weather! I hope they enjoy these as much as I do! The best of luck to you both!
We ventured out for some engagement pictures on a cold, cloudy fall evening at the beautiful Ewing Castle in Normal. We ventured out for Drew and Kristin’s engagement session on a cold, cloudy fall evening at the beautiful Ewing Castle in Normal. I loved the fall colors, the foliage and the chemistry between these two. They were a lot of fun to photograph and it’s evident that they are going to have a fun marriage!!
I also photographed Drew’s proposal to Kristin – which was amazing!! You can see that HERE.
