Kainnan | Newborn Photographer in Bloomington IL
Hattie entered this world with bang, as perfect as can be! I was very honored to be her newborn photographer!
The birth story Mom and Dad will get to tell their little girl when she is older will be one of a kind. While the family was out of town for a family wedding, this little girl decided it was her day instead. Waiting as long as she could, Mom couldn’t wait anymore and they headed to the hospital. On the way, Mom said, “I’m not going to make it.” And she was right. They pulled over once at a hotel, her husband ran inside to ask for help and he got back in and Mom said, “Drive!” Attempting still to make it to the nearest hospital, still an hour away from home, they pulled over again, this time in a BP gas station parking lot. A few minutes later, they welcomed their little girl, Hattie. Thanks to the 911 operator, this Dad was able to successfully help his wife bring their little girl into the world.
Funny thing is, they were waiting to find out the gender until her birth day. So, when the ambulance showed up to whisk mom, dad and baby away, they still didn’t know, as it was dark and, well, Dad hadn’t really delivered a baby before, he was strictly following the 911 operator’s strict instructions to keep baby right where she was until responders arrived. The responders grabbed baby and Mom and Dad said, “Well, is it a boy or a girl?!”
“You have a beautiful baby girl”……they said.
Now, Mom will never forget the day of her sister’s wedding anniversary, as her and Hattie share this special date!
And they lived happily ever after…..
Miss Meghan has been teacher at for my two children at Little Jewels and happens to be one of the sweetest people I know. When she contacted me about booking a surprise session with her boys to gift to her husband for Father’s Day, I was so excited. What a great idea!!
Her cuddles and playful behavior with her little ones melts my heart. We finished off her Mother and Me Session with Cubs gear, as her hubby LOVES the Cubs! I hope he loves this gift and I cannot wait for him to receive these on Father’s Day this year!
Olivia’s newborn session was filled with pale pinks and neutrals, which she modeled well. She is also the little sister to Sophia, who was so happy to kiss on her for a few images during the newborn session.
This family was so fun. Their kids loved the camera and we had the most gorgeous sunset for their fall family photos. We did their session near Crestwicke Country Club in Bloomington, IL. I am loving all the fall foilage this time of year. It has been providing the best fall backdrop for my outdoor fall family pictures this year! Without further ado, please check out this gorgeous family of 5!
