I could gush on this sweet little girl all day long. As a newborn photographer, I love each and every one of the newborns that walks into my Studio located in Bloomington IL and Madeline is no exception. Her strawberry blonde hair, her chubby cheeks and of course he fuzzy little ears.
Please don’t wait to book your newborn session with Chandi Kesler Photography. Limited amount of sessions are taken each month to ensure availability.
Madeline is modeling several of my favorite items – the vendors are listed and tagged below.

Cream Headband and Flower/Pearl Tieback: The Dainty Meadow
Ellie’s mom had one request for her newborn session when she was born — she wanted to include a photo of Ellie with her wedding veil. How sweet!! I was happy to do this for for them! Otherwise, Ellie’s newborn session was filled with simple, girlie props that seemed to match her little resting grinning face perfectly.
Behr is such a squishy, happy baby. I was happy to have him back to my studio for his 1 year cake smash session that his sweet mom totally themed out to Where the Wild Things Are. She had several things made for his session and I was super stoked to make a teepee for him as well. If you’re wanting to make a teepee, I followed this blog here for the instructions. I substituted the round doll rods.
All in all, the session was a success.
When Mom texted me to tell me that her “porkchop” came out weighing over 9 pounds, I squealed a little (a lot actually). He was just as cute in person as in the photos she sent from her phone. Logan slept like a dream. He was amazing to pose during his newborn photo session and those cheeks….I mean come on!
This year’s Christmas Mini Sessions were so fun. I love the use of gold and Christmas lights in the background. I had a lot of different Christmas mini session ideas, but I had to narrow it down to two and LOVED the turnout!!
Love is in the air. It’s that time again to start thinking about glittery hearts and MOM tattoos. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and to help you prepare, we are launching our Valentine Mini Sessions for your little Valentines. These are perfect for sending out custom photo Valentines for your children’s classrooms this year. They are also perfect for creating adorable wallets for sharing with friends and family. We will have two love worthy and gender neutral backdrops set up this year and are really excited about it.
Oh, I have been loving on some newborns lately. I have been working so hard to catch up on all my fall sessions, I have been neglecting my blog quite a bit. I am out of order with blogging these, but I just finished up his gallery and thought, what the heck. So here is Greyson. His mom and Dad drove from Champaign to my Bloomington IL photography studio at only 7 days old!! He was perfect. Didn’t make a peep, didn’t stop to eat, no bathroom accidents, and he even opened his eyes for me! I know his mom and dad are very proud and I am so honored that I was able to do Greyson’s newborn session!

Clara’s newborn baby girl session was just how you would imagine any little newborn girl’s first photos to be: pink, girly, simple and sweet. Her big sister is so proud and is already taking on the big sister role and helping her momma out when she can!
On a side note, I love what I do and I love even more that I get to meet people in my neighborhood while doing it. I now have a new friend and a new running buddy.
When McKenna’s family asked me to come to her Grandpa’s farm in Clinton, IL for her 18 month photo session, how could I say no?! I love the country, I love farms, and this family is amazing! As you can see, McKenna is one of the happiest babies I have had the pleasure of photographing. I met her and her family when she was 6 months old and she grows sweeter by the day. She and I got a lot of exercise in during this session and when your grandpa owns a yard with a lot of acres, there are a lot of places to run – we checked them all out. I love the photos near the cornfields the most – she looks like she is ready to tackle.
My most favorite thing about this session is that her Grandpa bought her a little outfit from a local department store all on his own (the one in the first pic) and she was nothing but smiles as we ran around Grandpa’s yard in it! I hope they cherish her little personality forever as we captured it in these photos from her 18 month session.
I had been looking forward to this super stylish country side session for a while. My friend asked me about photos for her 3 girls and I was so happy to schedule them. I encouraged Mom to come dressed for photos so she could have some of them together. Although reluctant at first, she was so excited for them by the time the session had arrived. They are some of my favorite images from her session gallery.
We had gorgeous light pouring in during this session and as I show Mom the back of my camera, she says, “Wow, this is why we wait to have photos taken this late, huh? Totally worth
That’s right! This Peoria IL Photographer waits for that light – I am strict on my session times, but this is why, my friends! That golden light cannot be captured any other time!
