2017 Tree Farm Mini Sessions | Bloomington IL
Oh Lucca was full of smiles and tons of chubbiness for his session with me. I can’t believe how much he has changed. The amount they grow in just only 3 months never ceases to amaze me. They start to emerge with their little personalities and curiosity. I love that I get to be a part of capturing these sweet milestones for so many wonderful people. Lucca got tired at the end of this session, I took advantage and we took some super sweet sleeping photos. Those little curled up hands, long lashes and that little peaceful face. I hope they cherish these for a lifetime!
Elyse’s momma and I spent several years working together as nurses before Jamie started having babies. Actually, we have known each other for quite a few years. We go back to the “Yellow Mustang Days” as Jamie and I would call them…..
Now, it’s pampers and mini vans and we wouldn’t change it for the world.
So, let’s talk about Elyse. Isn’t she just gorgeous?! And her big brother is CLEARLY in love with her! How sweet is he?!
Elyse is one special baby. She is what they call a Rainbow Baby. It is a term used to describe a baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss.
“In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.
The storm (pregnancy loss) has already happened and nothing can change that experience. Storm-clouds might still be overhead as the family continue to cope with the loss, but something colorful and bright has emerged from the darkness and misery.”
Not only has Jamie’s family lost a baby, but they have weathered multiple other tragedies that left them feeling helpless and lost.
Through it all, their faith never wavered and God prevailed as He always promises to.
They, indeed, have braved quite some storms in their time as a family, but God gave them their long awaited rainbow.
So happy for you all!
Newborn Photography is one of my favorite things in the entire world, after of course church and my family. Do you want to know WHY newborn photography is a huge passion of mine? I could go on forever, but to sum it up in a few words this is why:
I mean, who doesn’t love baby toes? I only take about 40 photos during each newborn session of just their toes….I can’t help it.
New life. What is more amazing than that? These sweet little beings just so perfectly made. Every single one of them.
Innocence. The are so pure, so reliant and trusting on us to take care of them. They need one thing….love. Well, and food, but that is love too, right?!
This was the first time Owen and I met and he was just such a sweet little boy. We explored, played tag, raced each other (he always won of course), and threw rocks in the water. For those of you who have ever booked a photography session with me, you know, Chandi Kesler Photography, you know that I love to have fun with the kids…..and dads. It’s the best and easiest way to make your session easy and memorable. It’s not easy getting out there to take pics, dress everyone for a family session or convince our significant others that we are getting family photos…..again. Dads usually grumble, but honestly, by the time we are done with our session, I feel like that dads are usually pretty happy and tell me how fun it was…..MOST of the time!!
So, don’t hesitate to reach out and book. I make it easy. Just CLICK HERE TO EMAIL ME and we will get you all set up!!! I can’t wait to meet you!
McKenna is one of the happiest little girls I know. Although very shy, we have bonded over the years and I am very proud to say we are buddies and have fun together!! Her smile will warm up any room!
Mr. Griffin, his big blue eyes and sweet, chubby cheeks are to die for. I love his little grin and his little dimple poking through! He is 6 months old….where did the time go?!
I loved this sweet family! They have such beautiful little girls. Nora is well loved, for sure! Her sister was absolutely delighted to get in the photos with her new baby sister.
I also loved the colors from this sessions — I haven’t use lavender with a newborn girl in such a long time, so setting up Nora’s newborn session featuring lavender was so exciting!! I loved using my hand dyed Flokati rug and matching bonnet from Violet Dove Organics.
Jameson was a dream to photograph. His mom brought along a little red fire truck to showcase, as his dad is a volunteer firefighter! He slept like a dream and even showed off his big bright eyes.
6 month sessions are among some of my favorite sessions to do during a baby’s first year. So much progress, so much personality and love. They are so happy. A nice reminder of the simple things in life — love and happiness.
