When it’s cold outside, we find things to do inside! Well, after slaving away for a year on a new kitchen, I suppose I ought to use it, right?! For those of you who know me, I am NOT a cook. I have a stove with a million buttons and, between you and me, it looks as easy to operate as flying a spaceship. So, I did what any good wife and mother would do to provide a warm meal for her family. I purchased a $20 pork loin, threw some spices on top, looked a few things up on the internet, and popped that baby in! Hmmm….?! Which button to I push to cook this thing?! I knew the chicken nugget button was out as well as the pizza button. That left me with bake, broil, convect. What the heck is the difference?? Well, back to the internet! Google and I decided Bake would be the best option. So, off it went. Wish I would have had photos of the finished
product masterpiece, but my hubby took a big bite out of it before I had a chance. That thing was amazing! Guess I should probably start cooking a little more! Pinterest, here I come!
Here is Brecken watching the meat cook. He LOVES to watch inside the oven to see what’s cooking. If you ask him “What’s cooking?” he runs over to the oven and looks inside. One of my favorite things.
Sunday Morning Pancakes – We love making pancakes on Sunday morning. Aubrey loves that I put chocolate chips in all of them. This time she wanted to help. OF COURSE! Aubrey can’t help without her little brother right by her side. He wants to do everything with her. So far, she
tolerates loves having him around.
Love that it looks like he is reading the box (and his bed hair).
We gotta make sure their ok, right?!
